first of all, it was amazing to see you guys(VA Coaches) doing what you're obviously supposed to do - to socially interact in an interesting and inspiring way.
This was my first seminar and I have to admit, that I had great weekend with you. Not only because of the stuff you told me, but also just as human beings, somebody to have great conversation with.

I was asked to provide a review, so I'll actually start that now :-)

When only reading books or online material, you don't get that much of a grasp on where to emphasize on, on where to put the most effort into. So, my aha moment was when we talked about delivery, that it's actually not that important WHAT you say in A{1,2,3} but HOW. Also, I gained some knowledge on social calibration, which includes delivery, which also leads to the conclusion that you shouldn't rely on fixed material but rather on spontanious action - micro-calibration.

As I already indicated, the difference between reading and acting(seeing Mystery and the guys in action) is huge. It gives you so much energy to see how these people are into the topic. It gives you the cherry on the top that you necessarily need in this art to become better than the textbook students.

Before I came to BC I actually have just gotten introduced to the whole thing. I only read a few books two or three weeks in advance :-) Maybe it was an omen that the BC happend to be in my town so - for me - rapidly.
To be honest I haven't had any problems with the women beforehands, a good two figure count per quarter I'd say. The thing is, those women are not always 9s or 10s, those used to be rarely found. The actual reason for me to join was just a general interest I reckon. Turns out that it behaves like a black hole. When I first started using material and routines I experienced a quite downturn. But after a couple of days practise I could see results. And SENATOR saw that it was good. ;-)

One thing I want to point out is that the BC was a fantastic place to get to know people who share the same interest - potential wings. Thanks to modern communication technology we fastly exchanged all our numbers.

After having done some research now, I'd come to the point that it's not all about pick up, which it never really has been to me, but of lifestyle. It's just a massive improvement and gain of lifestyle after all. It's not about picking up 10 girls a night just to tell your friends afterwards. It's about picking up interesting people, to have choice, to have conversation, to enjoy the environment. :-)

I will def use the next chance to catch up with you guys, whereever it will be!

The D.C. bootcamp was great. Knack led it with Foodgeek, Alex and Oscar. Great group of students and we used our newly learned approach skills in the field Friday night. Our approaches were good, but some of us fizzled, including myself. Saturday night, we really chrystalized our newly learned skills. Dragging my exhausted body out on Saturday was a challenge, but somehow I did it. We ran into some competing bootcamps at the places we went, but that actually made it more interesting. We had enough game by then to isolate and keep the conversations going.

Since the bootcamp, I have been using my techniques in the field and reporting back to guys from the bootcamp. Two of us from the bootcamp have gone out a couple of times, but I have yet to hook up with the local D.C. group. I'm tempted to take an NYC course, where I own another apartment and where most of my old friends still live.

I had the pleasure of meeting Knack at another social event before I took the bootcamp, and corresponded with him for a while after that. I explained to Knack that my main interest in this is helping others in the stuttering community. As a lifelong stutterer who is an active member of the National Stuttering Association and the World Congress on Stuttering, I have seen how men who suffer from this condition often go through life unable to meet women. 80% of stutterers are men, and few will ever take such a course as this unless it is taught by someone from the stuttering community and if the course is directed towards those with this problem. I look forward to continuing to work with the great guys I met in this bootcamp, improving my own skills and, I hope, being able to help others in the stuttering community. Perhaps there could be a workshop at one of our annual conventions.

I came out to Chicage not knowing what to expect. I'd been working solo for a year and this was going to be my first workshop experience. I understood that through the course of the weekend a lot of new concepts would be thrown our way. It became obvious to me that the instructor would have a difficult job making the material interesting and understandable. That being said, Lovedrop did not dissappoint. He knew his stuff from background evolution to the various techniques used by RSD, Speed Seduction, Cocky Funny and of course, The Venusian Arts.

On Saturday evening, with my newly aquired knowledge, I successfully opened 4 out of 5 sets. The highlight occured when I got a hostess so interested after a CT - IOD combo, that she threw ice at me from a cooler, begging me to continue a palm reading after I had hand tossed and walked away!

Overall, I had a great time, but this is just the begining. I'm heading back to another Conference and hopefully I'll see you guys there.
