Personal Life

Dean Cortez was a writer by profession before stumbling into the dating coach market. He has lived in Las Vegas, New York and a variety of Asian countries.

Dating Advice Career

Dean Cortez got involved in dating advice largely through coincidence. He was in a club in Las Vegas when he met a guy who turned out to be very good with women and was a 'hostage negotiator'.

The hostage negotiator was using what he learned from negotiating with terrorists and the like and applying it to get results with women. This intrigued Dean, and he learned a lot from his new friend.

In subsequent years he built up a great lifestyle with women surrounding him in Las Vegas, and eventually decided to write about it (being a writer). This would become his first book 'M.A.C.K. Tactics' and received a lot of media exposure in the likes of MAXIM and other male magazines in 2005.

His lifestyle in Las Vegas began to revolve around strippers (his girlfriends and their friends) and as a result he also began writing about how to meet and attract strippers specifically.

Shortly afterwards Dean left Las Vegas to move to New York and then to later spend most of his time in Asia (Japan, Thailand and the Philippines primarily).

This led him to write dating advice based on his learnings on dating and relationships with Asian women.
