Advanced Dating Techniques    Compare Expired

This seemed like SO many very SLOW talks by Dave D standing there in the blue dress shirt, first time through. The dragging pace, visual monotony and cheap production values make a good part of this seem like inexpensive filler for too many discs - at least at first.

Just being honest!

On first viewing the talks and interviews with guests are FAR more engaging, with most of them offering some lightning-bolt transformational insights, each in their own style. Again very raw and off-the-cuff, with some amusingly awkward and nervous moments - but the content is pretty good. I was using ideas immediately.

The first 6 or so David-Only monologue discs do grow on you, though. The slowness serves its purpose. Over repeat viewings some very thoughtful concepts emerge and I see that Dave wasn't just trying to fill up nine discs so he could charge me a lot of money LOL. (With exchange it had cost about 33 dollars per DVD - pretty fancy for the very basic production values.)

Sometimes you can't really hear what people off-stage are saying, or hear the audience reactions; there are no overhead room mics so the audio wasn't that well planned or likely even mixed (overhead mics would have made the simple visuals feel more 'live' and seem easier to watch.) Also, we at home are never shown the power-point visuals they are showing to the live audience and so we often feel left out. Again - visual monotony.

I will say this worked for me (a gradual learner, gathering more each viewing) and that's important. I'm getting the results I want at the pace I want. The Dating Gurus CD series is also incredibly useful and perhaps supreme value.

And finally, you have to WORK with these ideas. Keep trying another idea, then another.

David DeAngelo's "Advanced Series" is an EXCELLENT resource for newbies to evict their inner wuss/AFC and is comprehensive enough to really get your alpha attitude developed. Watching this DVD set was pivotal for me when I first got into the game. There's a little bit of everything... NLP, solidifying inner game, fun cocky & funny lines to use, gimmicks and props, ways you can improve yourself, sex techniques, getting into threesomes, attraction theory, enjoying the lifestyle, online dating tips, etc.

Rating: 9/10. In my opinion, this is the best David D has to offer. I've listened to the series numerous times. Even so, it's heavy on theory and light on actual technique. This series is better at listening to over and over to build "inner game".

Advanced series is full of good stuff, but again, mostly inner game, paradigm shifting material. Towards the end, you'll get pickup lines, but you'll be less dependent, and more confident. This program almost makes the other's superflous. the guest speakers were great.

i got the advanced dating stuff on cd.its cool to listen to before going out while getting ready.the inner game stuff gets me pumped up.as far as pickup lines an techniques its pretty weak but is worth hearing at least once.the last dude is a joke though.talks about how he stands back does not approach does not take womens phone numbers tells them he wont date them hes just gonna screw-nut-bolt and still has like several 3 somes every month.if you are famous that shit works .dude is not.

I first got into this with david d stuff.i like the way he diesects the underlying reason women feel attraction.I know you dont need to know this to make it work ,but the vah has similar threads on attraction theory through it .The best dd is the advanced series, ive got them all,tried for 6 months to get through deep inner game without falling asleep,never managed to grasp the concept,7 hours to try andcure apporach anxiety! with vah 2/3 lines! i know whic i prefer

The DYD Advanced Dating Techniques program was the second product I had studied in the community after a year and a half of SS Basic Home Study Course study and experimentation.

This product gave me the cocky and funny attitude and structure that was incorporated into my field experiments. DYD was an easy transition into the field compared to the complexity of SS.

I was noticing the changes of performing the experiments within the club districts and this began to prepare me eventually for a workshop experience with Owen Cook, Nick Kho, and Ben Orion. Also, this program eventually lead me into the world of indirect PU and transitioning into learning M3 model (Attraction, Comfort, Seduction) from Mystery himself.

DYD Advanced Dating Techniques brought in other experts to the game from the SS community including Ben Orion, Dave Riker and was a platform to highlight the work of Rick H, Brent Smith, and even Hypnotica.

I have the new Advanced Series and, while I don't have the old one to compare the two versions, I think it's quite good. It's, as someone else said, mostly theory and light on techniques, but I personally find it more enjoyable that way. David D's guest speakers this time are great, too (except for Chris Carter, whose section seems like contrived filler); Style, Zan, Lance, Doc, and Geoffrey Miller give some amazing insights into gaming and techniques.
My main complaint is that he decided to include testimonials and stuff right in his program, with attendees asking dumb questions and generally wasting your time. I would say that, if your inner game is at least mediocre, these guys do nothing more than boost your self-esteem (you get the "At least I'm not like this guy" feeling).

thumbs up! One of the only DYD programs I actually made it through without falling asleep. lol but actually the audio is the same content for less money.

I liked this program, but the first 6 cds is like all science and super super boring...between cds 7-11 he starts to talk about more dating.

If it weren't for the guest speakers, this program would be a rip off IMO.

All Guest speakers give their own perspective on dating and gaming.
