It is A Great Book
It is a great book! I've read it twice now. Yes, some of the stuff is outdated, however, the underlying principles are not.
Tries to Synthesize a Lot of Old Community Material
It's an old book that tried to synthesize a lot of old community material. I haven't looked at in in a long time, but I'd be surprised if it isn't outdated. Fast Seduction's Player's Guide is basically The Layguide with some updated material.
