Approach WS in Singapore
|
Instructor(s) for Coaching: |
Sebastian Drake
|
|
The Good |
I took the Bootcamp in December 2007 with Sebastian Drake and Asian Rake.
It consisted of 3 afternoons of informal lectures, feedback and exercises and two nights in the field.
Sebastian is a great teacher with a natural talent for spotting what students to need. Asian Rake was good too.
Compared to other bootcamps there is a huge amount of personal attention.
There was also a very high instructor to student ratio (2:3).
The content seemed innovative and different to a lot of other stuff in the community, but is actually quite similar to the Approach Ebook, so if you have read that it might not be so new.
Very good fashion advice.
You get access to the Approach alumni forum, which is absolutely excellent. Great advice, no flame wars, close to 100% on topic.
There is a structured series of exercises to follow for 10 weeks after the Bootcamp, so you aren't stuck thinking 'what next?'
|
|
The Bad |
Sebastian didn't spend much time with us on the second night, as he was tired from the night before. The 20 minutes we winged each other on the first night was golden - he gave me so much great advice afterwards. But I was left thinking how much more could have been achieved if he had put more effort in on the second night.

Badboy WS with Cortez in Zagreb
|
Instructor(s) for Coaching: |
Cortez
|
|
The Good |
I took the workshop with Cortez back in 2005. Cortez took me and two other students; Badboy ran a parallel workshop with three other students the same weekend and we met up on some of the nights.
It had the most field time of any workshop I have taken. Thurs, Fri and Sat nights in bars/clubs and day game on Thurs, Fri, and Sat afternoon.
Absolutely great for pushing you to approach and break fears/limiting beliefs.
Totally changed my mindset, they use a lot of NLP to get you into state and change you beliefs. For me the effect lasted for 3-4 weeks after the bootcamp.
They teach a very simple system of getting the attention of girls and attraction through boldness, confidence and dominance.
A lot of verbal fluency exercises, which are now common in the industry, but were pioneered by Badboy, help you get into state.
|
|
The Bad |
They tell you stay away from forums and from all other seduction workshops/methods. This can leave you a bit unsupported after the workshop.
Their alumni forum is (or was) pretty dead.
Because they do very bold direct approaches, its easy to chicken out of doing them after the workshop and fall back into habits of not approaching.
Cortez was a much better teacher than Badboy.
When I took the WS it was great value for money - perhaps 1200$, no prices have risen so much it is quite expensive.

Mystery Method WS in Stockholm
|
Instructor(s) for Coaching: |
Sheriff • The Don
|
|
The Good |
I took the bootcamp in Summer 06 in Stockholm.
Great customer service - information sheets, emails before course etc.
My results did pick up after the bootcamp - surprisingly I became more direct and got more kiss closes. One or two of the guys had a lot of success after the bootcamp.
Sheriff and Sinn are good instructors. Good at giving feedback, good at pushing people into sets and fun to work with.
The demonstrations, while not great, did teach me that all game does not have to be flash game or super rapid escalation. The girls were into them for sure.
|
|
The Bad |
Far too many students (14+ in field). With that many it doesn't matter what the instructor to student ratio is, its too chaotic and you will always get relatively poor service and little personal attention. We had a ratio of about 1:3 or 1:4, but it might as well have been 1:6.
It may have changed now, bu WS I took was heavily routine based. I was living in Spain at the time, so not very practical as was hard to translate all the routines into Spanish.
Some of the instructors seemed to be spending most the time sarging for themselves. One cock blocked a student. Others tried, but were unable to give advice beyond 'well done you spoke to her for five minutes!'. I would not recommend LondonPlayboy, The Don or Max; although others did have better things to say about them.
Incredibly expensive. Almost twice some other better workshops. You pay a lot for the brand name.

The Social Man bootcamp NY city
|
Instructor(s) for Coaching: |
Christian Hudson • Nick Sparks
|
|
The Good |
Took a 4 day WS as part of 'Unbreakable' 10 week program in Oct 08.
3 days lectures/excercises; 1 afternoon of day game, 3 evenings in field and round up/feedback on last morning.
Very good instructors, dedicated to helping their clients and excellent value for money. No idea why their WS are so cheap. Nick Sparks brings a load of energy and Christian Hudson is great at diagnosing student's problems.
Huge amount of personal attention, even more than the Approach. They tailor the syllabus to the individual student.
Got to hang out in Christian Hudson's cool NY apartment and got invited to some of his parties.
They took us to some really great venues with lots of girls, high through flow of new people, not too loud and no other bootcamps.
I kiss closed a girl 6 inches taller than me on the last evening. One guy got laid twice over the weekend workshop.
Absolutely THE choice if you live in or around NY city.
2:1 instructor to student ratio. But in practice better because some very advanced ex-students joined for two nights. I spent about 2 hours 1-1 with Christian Hudson on the last night.
|
|
The Bad |
Follow up after the bootcamp is slim, but that is true for most seduction companies. They are working on it.
Probably better instructors out there for street game. Although they did get everyone approaching which is an achievement.

Fidentia (Attract and Date) in Prague
|
The Good |
I took a Fidentia WS in Prague in Autumn 05. Instructors Cameron Teone, Robert, and Ranko. Fidentia is long gone, so I'll just focus on Ranko as he was clearly the core behind the company and had the best game.
Ranko is the BEST instructor for street game I have ever met. Absolutely the real deal. Very few other instructors are good at this.
Very good at teaching direct game (night and day) and day game.
I learnt how to take a girl on an instant-date on the WS and was first of many since. So it was instrumental to my development as a PUA.
|
|
The Bad |
not much follow up
the direct-method forum is full of KJs and people spouting bad advice. (not sure if it is affiliated any longer).
Ranko's focus on direct and beating 'excuses' is good in that it helps break limiting beliefs and you can get great reactions from girls. However, it is limiting and can stunt your development in other ways if you don't experiment with other things also.
Direct street approaches can lead to a lot of flakes for some people and this is especially the case if you haven't got the rest of your life/game together and have only learnt to approach confidently.
