The Good
blissfully uncomplicated product full of common sense, great lines and mental tips,
The Bad
Not much. It's light on theory and stops sooner than I"d like. Mr Sam King also has a slightly cheesy world view that overvalues appearances - material things. He may simply be going with reality here but to me it lets him down. Similarly he occasionally recommends a white-lie to get you around a particular scenario (getting a recent conquest to leave pronto). That won't appeal to everybody.
This is a short book from a guy who is obviously born with the gift of the gab. There's nothing you haven't heard before in here, but it's a very complete example of how one man put a lot of things to work and includes several LR type exchanges. It's full of really useful phrases and gambits, that you can go out within about 5 mins of reading them and make work. He's English too which meant, for me, the lines and examples rang truer and were easier to borrow and adapt to my voice than the PUA stuff from stateside. It costs next to nothing as well. I read the 4 E of G just before this, and the two together work great. These types of line seemed to provide the lubrication I needed to get out and get those tension- release conversations happening. Thanks to both of them, I'm having a lot of fun.
This guy is a legend... His lines are awesome and his field reports are not only great examples but told in a manner that will have you laughing non-stop!
The Bad
Not a bad word to say about the book. Could perhaps use a few diagrams, but that's about it.
First class material at a first class price. This book over delivers and brings a great perspective to the table that few other authors do. 100% recommended.
