This is the first of our Best User Review of the Month posts. Going forward at the end of each month, we'll select one, or if merited several of the best user reviews.
When we say best, we basically mean "Most Helpful" to other users of Dating Skills Review. When we say most helpful we mean will it inform other users better. Good reviews have these kinds of attributes:
- Objectivity and Constructive: You have taken the time to consider the advice constructively, and aren't being 'fan' or 'hater' - opinions are useful, but they must be constructive to be useful.
- Detailed and Specific: The more specific you are about the things that were useful to you and weren't useful, and how and if you applied them, and the results you got - the better. Give details and examples. They'll help others far more than general statements.
- Your background: Providing some quick details about your experience and stage of learning will help others to see if you have a similar profile to them - and therefore your opinion may be more relevant to them.
So, without any further discussion. The best user review of August 2010 was written by Douglas on Daytime Dating - Never Sleep Alone - a new product from Love Systems.
What we found good about Douglas' review was:
- He provides context to his own stage of learning/ background and how he feels about the company so that other users can see if he's coming from the same place - and if his opinion may be relevant to them.
- He gives some specifics about what he liked and didn't like and why he felt he learned/ didn't learn.
Congrats Douglas - good effort. Thanks for contributing to the Dating Skills Review community!
