It's a grower, it's overlong, it's low-tech and it's very useful.
This seemed like SO many very SLOW talks by Dave D standing there in the blue dress shirt, first time through. The dragging pace, visual monotony and cheap production values make a good part of this seem like inexpensive filler for too many discs - at least at first.
Just being honest!
On first viewing the talks and interviews with guests are FAR more engaging, with most of them offering some lightning-bolt transformational insights, each in their own style. Again very raw and off-the-cuff, with some amusingly awkward and nervous moments - but the content is pretty good. I was using ideas immediately.
The first 6 or so David-Only monologue discs do grow on you, though. The slowness serves its purpose. Over repeat viewings some very thoughtful concepts emerge and I see that Dave wasn't just trying to fill up nine discs so he could charge me a lot of money LOL. (With exchange it had cost about 33 dollars per DVD - pretty fancy for the very basic production values.)
Sometimes you can't really hear what people off-stage are saying, or hear the audience reactions; there are no overhead room mics so the audio wasn't that well planned or likely even mixed (overhead mics would have made the simple visuals feel more 'live' and seem easier to watch.) Also, we at home are never shown the power-point visuals they are showing to the live audience and so we often feel left out. Again - visual monotony.
I will say this worked for me (a gradual learner, gathering more each viewing) and that's important. I'm getting the results I want at the pace I want. The Dating Gurus CD series is also incredibly useful and perhaps supreme value.
And finally, you have to WORK with these ideas. Keep trying another idea, then another.
I bought the Adv Dating Techniques Course and it rocked my world.... I was bowled over by Sperm Wars and Attraction is Not A Choice. Women think it is ( A Choice- And so did I) as they are manipulated by a Player with good technique and no good intentions... David D is the way to go for most beginners because you need some Inner Game to succeed with women. MM even states that the guys entering Boot Camps etc should have a life and some clue as to what is going on... You are right David appears to be "by his own admission" an Analyzer. Analyzers are not known for people skills and would have to work on it in order to improve their love life. They do not typically do jobs with a great deal of social interaction because that is where they are weak...
Strong Inner Game, Socialization, etc is one of the first things that they should do which is why David is so big on it. He is a very sharp guy and I wish I had gotten his stuff sooner. MM is very good on giving you a Plan to get to the Goal ( Seduction ). You have to have a Vehicle to get there (Inner Game). The MM Interview CD Series may be the answer to giving you some good Inner Game material to help build up the confidence that you need to succeed with women (along with Good DHVs). I was very successful early on with only Confidence (Strong Inner Game) and some good BS (with embedded DHVs). It was all done naturally without much real thought and planning; although, I understood that women want to be with Cool Guys and I tried to ensure that was me....
Bottom line is that as others have said just about All of the Material Available has some good use in developing a man into a better man. DDA is great, although he may have a product or two that are less effective than others... I plan to try some other products. I am listening to Hypnotica from a DDA Interview CD. The Hynotica CD is very good and I recommend his material for helping with Limiting Beliefs. Oh yes, as stated above, DDA is very Analytical. That is his Strength. He goes into detail and gives you much in depth knowledge which will empower you. He is criticized as having two many products.... I personally like the in depth analysis of each area of the Venusian Arts which he so carefully analyzes. He does the study and homework, I get the synopsis or bottomline on what he learned without the months or years of reading alot of potentially boring books....
As far a Dupliation and Repetition are concerned. David's Products are as many as eighteen CDs of information of all kinds. Many of the competitions products are 3 - 5 cds and cost about the same. David can afford to repeat himself to Hammer in the Word and get it through the hard heads of the buyer. He has to work hard to fix a lot of the bone heads that are reading his material. They need lots of love (possibly Hard Love) and guidance...
It is all great stuff! I recommend that if you (the Reader) are worth
anything, then show it by Investing in your Greatest Asset.... YOU!!
David DeAngelo's "Advanced Series" is an EXCELLENT resource for newbies to evict their inner wuss/AFC and is comprehensive enough to really get your alpha attitude developed. Watching this DVD set was pivotal for me when I first got into the game. There's a little bit of everything... NLP, solidifying inner game, fun cocky & funny lines to use, gimmicks and props, ways you can improve yourself, sex techniques, getting into threesomes, attraction theory, enjoying the lifestyle, online dating tips, etc.
Rating: 9/10. In my opinion, this is the best David D has to offer. I've listened to the series numerous times. Even so, it's heavy on theory and light on actual technique. This series is better at listening to over and over to build "inner game".
I first got into this with david d stuff.i like the way he diesects the underlying reason women feel attraction.I know you dont need to know this to make it work ,but the vah has similar threads on attraction theory through it .The best dd is the advanced series, ive got them all,tried for 6 months to get through deep inner game without falling asleep,never managed to grasp the concept,7 hours to try andcure apporach anxiety! with vah 2/3 lines! i know whic i prefer
