Total Newbie Friendly!!
The Good
-builds a connection with a woman REALLY fast (sometimes, TOO FAST), I'd say it works as advertised
-goal is to get woman to do most of the talking so its less memorization!
-total newbie friendly!! (in my opinion, read down below to see why)
-No need to worry about IOI counting since you're going to get mostly DDBLs
-throughout the course of the interaction, you're screening her out by challenging her which takes the place of qualifying (A3) in MM
-a super star MVP for day game!!
-no need to peacock or dress funny, hell, you can even be ugly/fat as hell and get laid with SS (go watch youtube videos of fat ugly men getting laid with SS)
-most of basic Speed Seduction is now available for free on youtube!!
-cold reading + SS is a killer kombo (actually SS + any other school is a killer kombo), but watch Vince Kelvin videos and he uses cold reading + SS a lot!!
-you can tell within the first 3-5 minutes of conversation of whether or not you should even keep talking to her so its very efficient sarging
The Bad
-talking about connection, indulgence, excitement, feeling drawn, going for it...just seems really hard at first for most guys (get Dave Riker's courses to remedy this)
-embedded commands, trance words, self pointing, weasal phrases, seduction questions, and all the different names for the different tools make SS sound kind of creepy (just my opinion again)
-a lot of the openers (by MM standards) seem totally AFC, yet totally newbie friendly
-not suited if you're aiming at a certain girl because even Ross says that this doesn't work on everybody and most of it is about picking the right target
-promotes a "numbers game" mentality and not considered really "solid game" by MM standards
-requires TIGHT tonality control moreso than other methods; you've got to sound hypnotic when you talk basically and it may feel unnatural at first (to remedy this, get Dave Riker's courses..both)
-Definitely not suited for multi-sets! But really good for one-on-one interactions
-a nightmare to use in night game
-not suited if you're goal is to get phone #s b/c you have to ESCALATE while the iron is hot when using SS..literally one can miss a lot of opportunities because of waiting too long since their state goes away
-SS alone does NOT teach you anything about kino escalation (to my knowledge) you're going to have to combine some routines from MM that utilize kino in order to patch that HUGE gaping hole..basically it seems that SS's philosophy to kino escalation is to test her while fractionating (aka not patterning) for heat/comfort and you just have to "feel" that she's ready and go for it-I can see how newbies won't find that a good thing
-SS's phone game is weak!! Basically, there is no "phone game" the only goal of talking on the phone is getting her to meet you. You might have to flirt with Mehow's phone game material to patch this other HUGE gaping hole. The best strategy is to bounce/instadate after getting that emotional connection from SS and sometimes that just isn't possible. (See why I call it "newbie friendly"..its too simple to use and relies heavily on HER decision to feel attracted to you, the NLP is there to help her convince herself that she likes you "for some mysterious reason")

-you're too poor or lazy to buy a strategy guide, so you take that same video game, and go in the options menu, set it to easy and play from there
Review of Speed Seduction and response to previous review
To respond to the previous review. Yes you need other methods for groups in a night club. Ross never has said that his method is designed for night clubs and he has even stated in one his short coaching videos that the MM approach can work in clubs. Yet when you get a woman isolated particularly on a day 2 and she is in rapport, feeling attraction and is paying attention, there is nothing more effective than Speed Seduction. Even the best PUAs will admit if you press them that at some point they incorporate NLP, using hypnotic language to create states of lust, arousal, emotional connection, fantasy and good feelings. I agree that the Riker course can be useful to ensure that these concepts can sound natural in every day language but one must also use some common sense.
If it would not sound natural to you then it probably sounds a bit weird to the girl. But if you are really captivated by someone then if they start talking in vague pattern languaging, using embedded commands, feeding back trance words and all of that it will sound normal and interesting to you. The key is to incorporate this effectively by practicing and noticing when you're getting good reactions and when you're not. It can be used with almost every woman out there. You have to be smart and figure out how to make it sound normal and natural and then add in the heavier stuff once you're alone and she is already intrigued by you.
And yes to some extent SS is probably the most challenging approach to really master. It is easier to say "What do you have going for you more than you looks" than to use vague pattern language with trance words, embedded commands, phoenetic ambiguity and anchoring (tough to do effectively without being awkward, it takes A LOT of practice!) so that is why most guys do not stick with it. As we learn in all life skill endeavors, the more difficult it is the more likely you will get better LONG term results!
